Nope, all renewables do NOT totally rely upon fossil fuels for every aspect of manufacture and deployment. Mining in particular has started toward full electrification. Build a solar array, add batteries, and then you can operate with electric motors. Solves a lot of problems and is now cheaper than burning fuel. You may have missed the global investment in battery factories that's been underway for the past 60 months, but those factories are now producing cells. Full electrification and solar power will greatly reduce the complexity of many industrial systems and will have much lower negative environmental impact.
