Our son studied marine biology at Bowdoin College. They were having trouble keeping airborne microplastics from contaminating seawater samples as they were looking at them under microscopes. Plastic is everywhere! You'd have to create a clean room like they use for manufacturing computer chips to filter out airborne plastic particles. Plastics are in every breath we take in this modern world we've created.
